Censorship by polish government in Poland, in a few words.
We had a censorship in Poland, over 30 years ago when martial law has been started agains polish citizens who did fight for their rights and for other people which on that time communist government put in jails...

Polish
military police demanded(!!!) to Onet.pl (the biggest Internet news-site in Poland)
journalist to do NOT public ANY artiles about mobbing / sexual molestation
cases in polish army.
TVP –
national tv channel censored a joke of one of the most popular cabaret /
comedians named kabaret “Ani Mru Mru”. TVP called TVPiS removed the part of
dialogues about current government – because they didn’t like it.
When
President Barack Obama came to Poland
– he said he is concerned what is happening with polish Constitutional Court. Of course TVPiS
didn’t quote his words, they quote everything else except Obama’s words about Constitutional Court.
Even when
president Nixon came to Poland, during martial law in Poland, polish tv station
(the only one those days) didn’t censored his speech…Now there is no martial
law in Poland and national tv removes so important words of American president!
Private TV
network – TVN SA has got financial penalty – the biggest in Poland’s history
(1
480 000 PLN) just because they reported what happened in polish parliament
when PiS illegally removed opposition deputies from proceedings…PiS said TVN24
shown it in wrong way…
Not in
their way, I guess…
Polish
Constitution guaranties freedom of speech and freedom of press/media but PiS
doesn’t give a f*** about polish Constitution, they call it communist crap.
Censorship
in polish theatre – couple times.
If current
government doesn’t like some kind of foreign art – they block it or they do not
give the money to support it. There are some taboo words in Poland right
now. You can’t joke about Kaczyński and his party, about Jesus, God, etc.
Minister of
Culture Gliński promised money for Malta Festival which is very famous all over
the Europe for years, but then he changed his
mind because he didn’t like one of planned art show:
The same
censorship met museum – PiS government didn’t like something in exhibition so
they fired director of that museum and changed the exhibition, against people
who brought props to create this museum!
Current
government doesn’t like anything which do not agree with them and their way of
thinking, that is why there is a black list of polish movies which will NOT be
played in TVP.
This sounds
like a fucking absurd but its reality – welcome to the jungle or like prime
minister Szydło said: “Welcome IN Poland” :))))))
The same
TVP invites to their studio only journalists who totally agree with PiS
government. Others journalists are not invited anymore. That is called
pluralism by pis :/
They
(TVPiS) also censored a song from 1960 or about! Because in the lyrics there is
a “birch” word which is now connected with accident in Smoleńsk so they removed that word from the
song which has 57 years old! Weird? Not for me…
Another
funny thing is that some of PiS politicians on Twitter blocked average polish
citizens without any reason! Ask difficult question them and you are blocked!

The saddest
thing is prime minister Szydło blocked journalist too!
There is another thing - Ministry of Defence doesn't want publish the costs of special commision about Smoleńsk, how much they pay their experts, etc.
Present prime minister doesn't want to publish the costs of extra money paid to ex prime minister and her people in her office. If I will find out more about it - I will publish it asap!
So, dear
Reader – if you want to find out something more about Poland and what is going on in Poland – please do NOT read some of newspapers,
do NOT watch some of tv stations because you will only find news how great Poland
is and how happy polish citizens are.
Of course –
there are happy people here, even happy because PiS rules this country but not
all of polish citizens are happy with it. And not all of them are blind and
deaf for the propaganda they try to feed us.
As you
probably noticed I do not serve my opinions here (or I try to do not). I just publish pure facts
about some weird moves / functions PiS government does.
